The Vultron Ltd. (originally Vultron Trade American-
Hungarian joint-venture) was founded in 1989. The
activity of the early years of the company involved
licensing management, developing/producing/delivering
passenger information devices for public transportation

western Europe. The US market required a
remarkable software development to control (both
locally and remotely) the huge highway signs all over
the US in compliance with the NTCIP (National
Transportation Communications for Intelligent
Transportation System Protocol) standards. As
part of the team headed by Vultron several
Departments of the Budapest Technical
University also contributed to the success of this
project.
